Some of what we do is not billed. Never has been. We are giving the practice a name now because the AI economy is becoming uneven faster than anyone expected · and the founders, non-profits, civic leaders and students navigating it deserve a door they can knock on.

The wealth that builds inside a firm working in the new economy is a public deposit. It returns, through institutions, to the country it earned in. We hold a fraction of the firm in trust for civic work, in writing, from the first engagement.

It is the same word the navigation already carries, Open. We intend to be patient about it for decades.
